I see quilts everywhere.If it's not the colours, it's the textures.Right now, it's the depth in the the wind swept snow outside my kitchen window, and the shades of whites in that snow.Your cards are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI don't see quilts everywhere I see patterns and ideas for quilts. In the colour combinations of clothing or flowers in a pot and then in textures during a walk. I add these to the ever expanding list of ideas for quilts and hope that one day I will find time to create a quilt that uses some of these ideas.

ReplyDeleteI do see quilts in lots of places, out in the fields when the farmers have planted all those blocks of crops, prints on purses (not handmade), skirts, placemats etc. Fancy floor tiles and fancy woodwork.
ReplyDeleteI kinda go both ways. Sometimes I see quilts, or the inspiration for one, in lots of things, and other times, I see other things in quilts.

ReplyDeleteA few years ago before I started learning to quilt I didn't notice quilts as much as I do now so maybe what you say is true. BUT, having said that.......I noticed that glass with the ice and awesome strawberries first and now I am sitting here drooling over that wondering what's in that glass other than ice and strawberries. LOL
